My Thoughts For The Week Of December 12th

WINNIPEG, MB — In last week’s column, I mentioned the latest radio ratings. I did a bit more work on those numbers and I’m happy to report my weekend show on 94 saw listener-ship go up on average 64% in the year I was on the air. I’m proud of that! Thanks to all of you who listened! And remember, I’ll be announcing my new radio home very soon.

As you know, I’ve lost a lot of weight…170 pounds in the last couple years! Needless to say, most of my clothes don’t fit anymore. So yesterday, I decided to go through everything and weed out what I just can’t wear anymore.

I know how hard it is to find nice clothes when you’re as big as I was so if you’re struggling with that problem, please email me at and lets see if any of the clothes I can’t wear anymore might fit you.

Well, did you get some Guns N’ Roses tickets? I did! So maybe I’ll see you August 24th at IGF. I’ve been hearing people complaining about how expensive some of the tickets are. But you know what, there’s not a bad seat in the house so if you can still grab some cheaper seats, go for it! My tickets were under $50 each and I can’t wait! Here’s GNR’s video for Sweet Child O’ Mine to get you in the mood for the show.

It seems like everyone has a story to tell after last week’s blizzard. I’d like to feature one here that my buddy Jeff Mederski posted on his company’s Facebook page. A big thanks for Jeff and all the other snow movers out there!

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but my column doesn’t have a sponsor right now. If you’d like to talk about becoming that sponsor, please fire me an email at I’d love to partner up with you!

Have a great week!
